Tulip Contact Fixed Contact Series

The tulip contact is the key component widely used in power distribution switchgear, the performance directly affects the reliability and service life of the switchgear.

The tulip contact: it is usually composed of multiple contact fingers arranged in a petal shape.Structural design with larger contact area, ensuring good conductivity and heat dissipation.

Fixed contacts: Used to support and fix the tulip contacts, made of high-quality conductive materials such as copper or copper alloy to ensure good conductivity and mechanical strength.

Working Principle:When circuit breaker closed, the contact fingers of the tulip contact will wrap tightly around the fixed contact, forming a good electrical connection, allowing the current to pass smoothly. When circuit breaker disconnected, the tulip contact separates from the fixed contact, cutting off the current circuit.
